Futon Assembly Instructions
Below is a step-by-step guide for assembling our Hickory futons. Requires 2 people.
Required Tools:
1/2” Socket Wrench
Hammer
Before you begin: Remove any packaging material and separate the pieces. You should have the following pieces:
Step 1: Attach the front rail to the arms. The front rail has a log across the face of the rail, the back rail does not have the log. Next attach one side of the back rail. Do not attach both sides of the back rail at this point.
Step 2: Locate and remove the pin from the back. The back is marked with 2 white rollers on each side.
Step: 3: Arrange the Back and Seat so the holes align and insert the pin, followed by the washer and cotter pin.
Step 4: Place the back and seat on the frame between the arms and align the white rollers with the slots in each arm. While aligning the rollers with the slots, attach the back rail to the arms.
Step 5: Tighten the lag bolts in each leg until snug.
